![]() SAND CAMPING AREA'S C, D & E Sand Camping Permits for DuneFest 2013 will allow camping from Wednesday, July 31, 2012 through August 4th, 2012. Early check-in is allowed on July 30, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. for camping dates of July 31st through August 4th. Check-out is August 4th at NOON No person(s) will be allowed to camp in the sand during this time without a permit issued by the DuneFest Committee. A limited number of permits are available and will be sold on a "first come first serve" basis. Pre-registration is highly recommended. EVENT CAMPING RULES Alcohol WILL NOT be allowed in Sand Camp Sites C, D and E or any sand area's including Vendor and Stage Area. Alcohol WILL be permitted in Motor coach/RV Camp Sites A, B and Salmon Harbor only. Extra Vehicles: You are entitled to one (1) vehicle and attached trailer per camping permit. Any extra vehicles you bring must be parked outside the event area overnight. There is a maximum number of five (5) people per vehicle. No Refunds & Non-Transferable, Rain or Shine Event. Once you have submitted your payment to reserve a campsite there will be no refund. Upon written request by a customer, the DuneFest Committee will evaluate any exceptions to this rule after the event. If a refund is granted, there will be a charge back to your credit card minus a $25.00 bank charge. Event Permits/Pass Purchases: All entrance passes, camping and parking permits will be available for purchase or pick-up beginning July 31, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Pre-Registration Booth in Winchester Bay, Oregon. All pets within the event area (beyond the entrance gate) must either be contained or be on no more than a 10' leash. This is for the safety of the pet and others in area. All littering is prohibited. Garbage must be placed in the garbage bins. All human waste must be properly disposed of. Sanicans will be placed throughout the area. All raw sewage must be dumped at an official sewage collection station. It is not permitted to dump raw sewage or gray water into the sand. Violation of this is subject to penalty. There will be no parking permitted along the road except by emergency personnel. The camping area that is purchased is the designated camping area. Each area has a limited number of camping spots. That limit is not to be exceeded. Once you purchase a spot in a camping area you must camp in this designated area. Each person in the campsite must have an event pass. Event passes (Wristbands) can be purchased in advance or at the entrance gate. All persons inside the event area must comply with all federal, state, and local laws, and event rules and regulations. Failure to comply may result in permanent removal from the event area and/or issuances of a citation. As part of a plan to provide for a safer off-highway vehicle recreation experience, the Siuslaw National Forest is banning alcohol possession in off-highway vehicle riding areas in the Sand Lake Recreation Area and the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. |
