A free shuttle bus will be available to transport people to the DuneFest 2012 event site from 9 am to 6 pm on Thursday and 9 am to Midnight on Friday and Saturday.
Visit Vendor Row to find ATV accessories, clothing, and food. Vendor Row will open daily from 9am to 6pm with food vendors staying open later for you to enjoy fresh Dungeness crab or BBQ Ribs for dinner.
Attention riders please read Oregon's ATV/UTV requirements before you hit the sand!
Adults
Any adult 50 and under or any adult supervising a youth under 16 must have taken and passed the Oregon online safety education course. This course is online and is FREE. Go to www.rideatvoregon.org for more details and to take the coarse.
Youth 15 and under
As of January 1 2012 all riders under the age of 16 are required by the state of Oregon to have taken and passed a hands on skills evaluation. DuneFest along with Salem Sand Club will be offering evaluations on three days during the event. The evaluations will be held on Wednesday and Thursday mornings and Friday afternoon. The cost for the evaluation is $20 for Oregon resident, and $55 if you are from out of state. This is a class 1 evaluation only for youths ages 6-15. DuneFest 2012 - August 1-5, 2012
 Ovation Award winner of "The Best Sporting Event in Oregon". This five-day event is filled with exciting fun activities including adult and kid activities, Moto Cross Racing, Sand Drags, Poker Run, Treasure Hunt, Show N’ Shine, Drive-In Movie Night, Charity Auction, Freestyle Shows, evening entertainment featuring Rock The Dunes Friday and Saturday nights. Vendor Row offers ATV’s, clothing, crafts, ATV accessories, and food booths. DuneFest offers A Kid’s Safe ATV Riding Area, Exciting Activities for all skill and age ranges, Non Ethanol Gasoline, premium fuel 92 octane, available in Salmon Harbor at the fuel dock, and a free shuttle bus service from Winchester Bay. With the help of hundreds of volunteers, DuneFest is the premiere ATV sand event in the country.
